You need to use social media cautiously to ensure you do not compromise your professional prospect as a result you need to use social media responsibly for future employers/current employers will use this as a mark of your integrity
Censorship:
Internet in North Korea - using smartphones as mass surveillance watching anything not censored is seen as spying cannot access wider internet intranet curated by regine has to be approved by government monitoring devices prevents file sharing Thats not signed by government cannot hide activities from authorities takes random screenshots of browsing activities
Smuggling USB’s and DVD’s in balloons flew balloons over boarder from South Korea as part of propaganda to try and show people who lived there they are not free campaign park realised people was struggling and not free he bribed guards cross the boarder and leave he picked up propaganda efforts and stuffed them with usb and dvd he was seen as a hero threatened with death but he persevered. 1z

• China has a strict firewall to prevent people in China from gaining access to the internet
• some internet searches are banned and social media is blocked in the country- there is no facebook, instagram, google+, gmail and youtube
• China has its own social media platforms - Weibo
